P&D ent. has new Wilson Arms 1911's in!!

I'm not saying these pistols are worth what they are priced at but I got to handle one about a week back when I was at P&D. The fit and finish on these guns is the best I've seen. I've had the chance to shoot some fancy kimber's and sti's as well and these are, in my opinion, better than either in the looks and feel department.

If they shoot as well as they look then they will be tough to beat.

I like the stealth !! Dam P&D ..... now i want one . TAVOR or STEALTH??? Soon Ill have 3 guns on order and none are paid !!! I owe 3000+ to CANAM , 2500+ to Wolverine and soon 4000+ to P&D . Must resist !!!! What would be the resale value of a Wilson ? good ? would i lose a lot of $$$$?

I would love a nice Wilson or an Ed Brown etc. but I think 1400-1500 is my top limit for a 1911 especially considering possible resale at some point. Very small resale market for a 3-4K pistol in Canada. You know that most of us won't benefit from any small increase in accuracy for the extra couple of grand and hey, don't you really want a nice Python to go along with your Kimber? Love P&D and bought my 686, Kimber and Sig from them. For about the same cost as the top line Wilson. Just my 6c worth.

Dam im off a bad start!! My 1st 1911 is a SA custom operator (hard chrome) . So ur telling me if i buy myself a Wilson , i better keep it till i die ??

For the kind of money you spent on the Springfield you probably could have had an entry level Wilson. Or the one I'm dreaming about, Colt Special Combat .45 Govt. in Hard Chrome.
 
On the resale of a Wilson. There is no resale value on something....you will never sell !!!!!!!
P & D is THE importer for Wilson into Canada, I'm not sure if Questar could even get one for you.

Nothing against Wilson but I think I would rather get a Les Baer for $2095 from Ronin Sports if I was shopping for a high-end 1911.

Questar can get you anything that can be a) legally purchased in the U.S., b) legally exported from the U.S. and c) is not prohibited under Canadian law. It doesn't matter who the official importer is. Gray market guns are brought in all the time.

better then the STI er....
why dont you call willson and ask who makes there slides and frames for there high end 1911,s.
