WS-MCR vs WK180c

^
Cool, let us know how you like it. Did you find it at Wolverine, or one of their retail partners?

I have used cross mags, P mags, steel mags, and elander brand. All worked.

EDIT.

RWA bolt release WORKS fantastic too.

Will do.
I’ll give my impressions here, I’m used to shoot my AR my 62gn X855s, and know I can currently get 1 1/4- 1 1/2 moa with it.
If this one gets 2 - 2.5 moa for the price I’ll be impressed

Prairie gun traders is where I purchased it.
Sorry it was the last one.

As I said when I started the thread, I hate how they hide this rifle once it’s in stock

I almost ordered a WS-MCR but then read some of the reviews in other threads. I decided to go a different route and get a keltec rdb when they come back in a month or two.

I don't think this was ever brought to market. Just bought a WK180 and the bolt carrier got stuck when I field stripped it for the first time. Took a whole lot of finagling to get it out.

I think that's why they added the steel side plates to the MCR.

States on wolverine site for one year from initial retail purchase. That to me is that warranty is good for one year as long as you have the reciept ftom thr initial pirchase.

Just received my MCR.
First impressions... from front to back

Buttstock looks like a magpul knock off or factory blem, while looking like a CTR, it wasn't smooth, QD didn't fit in it, and you see the magpul branding was kind of grinded out, but not all of it so barely read magpul still.
Ergonomics aren't as bad as expected, flipping the safety is a bit more laborious than with an AR
Trigger is much better than anticipated, seen numerous mil spec triggers be way worse than this
Bolt cycles nicely in dry fire
Rail allowed for MBUS and ACOG to fit without problems
Mag release works well and PMAGS fall without a hitch, 2 supplied mags sure look like crap, I'd rather have it without mags but have a better buttstock off the start, that's just me though
Lightweight and well balanced

Can't wait for the range test. Going out on sunday with a few boxes of XM855 62gn
For now I have put the following on it : Magpul CTR stock, ACOG 4x32, MBUS, MDT mlok QD stud
Really wondering if my trigger tech trigger would fit in there, would be nice.
While having a paperweight AR, may as well put some of it's parts to use!

Update

Tried dropping in a trigger tech,
Does not clear it.
Had to reinstall factory trigger.

Tomorrow going to zero, will have a good honest review.

AvE agreed the trigger on the MCR was not too bad for a milspec trigger; this is an improvement, as many found the WK's trigger to be atrocious. Since you couldn't install the Trigger Tech, you may want to use the paracord trick, which helped some people with the WK's trigger.

Did EXACTLY this technique on my service rifle which had a Daniel Defense LPK installed.
Only dropped it by half a pound, but break was much crisper!
