finally got up to Ghost with my MCR, it functioned perfectly with Cross and LAR 10rnd mags, and wolf/norinco/federal ammo.

very very happy with this rifle!

And QD sling swivel doesn’t fit in.
I threw it out in the garbage couldn’t stand the sight of it, installed a real CTR like it should of been.
 
I can't speak for the MCR, but I was one of the first few hundred to get in on the WK. Trudeau talked me into it. I should have waited until they got some of the kinks worked out. Mine suffered from the charging handle scraping up the receiver. I still haven't gotten that replaced. Accuracy is decent, at least for what i need. Consistently hitting 10" plate at 300. Which is good for me. Shot my deer with it this year. 55 yards, between the eyes.


WK left a bad taste in peoples mouth with the falling out between Kodiak and Wolverine. Don't let that sway you. Like someone else said, if possible, buy both and sell the one you don't like.
 
Offtopic: Question to those who recently received their WS-MCR rifle. Did you receive it in a cardboard box or a hard plastic case? IIRC, the earlier deliveries were sent in a hard plastic case.

I'm guessing the case was left off in later releases to maintain the price at the same level while boosting production speed to get as many out the door as possible, before they are prohibited in one fashion or another.

Received less than a month ago in a cardboard box.
With 2 ugly mags and a fake CTR stock

Ahh, yes, gone up by $50, not 100. I have just checked what I paid for mine 2 weeks ago.

I ordered when they were in stock last week and there is some issue so they wont ship until the end of the week? I am just hoping to get it before it randomly gets shadow banned.

I better get two mags. That's what i paid for. Thats what the website says as of today, thats what it said last week. If you only got one its probably just an error.

Hopefully, it wont get banned but certainly could with another oic. I dont think it can be shadow banned as calling this rifle a variant of AR is a stretch in itself but then...

I'll look into what happened with another magazine. I had a self-sealing yellow bubble envelope with one mag in it.

With the poor quality of given mags, I would of rather had none than these 2 pieces of junk!
Love the rifle, use it regularly, would of rather not see the 2 crap mags (come with zero mags as everyone buying this rifle got AR mags), not see the crap buttstock and weird spec'd buffer tube, see a real Magpul CTR and a proper spec buffer tube, paid an extra 20-40$ for the rifle, and I would of been real happy.
