With the poor quality of given mags, I would of rather had none than these 2 pieces of junk!
Love the rifle, use it regularly, would of rather not see the 2 crap mags (come with zero mags as everyone buying this rifle got AR mags), not see the crap buttstock and weird spec'd buffer tube, see a real Magpul CTR and a proper spec buffer tube, paid an extra 20-40$ for the rifle, and I would of been real happy.
I havent yet shot with this rifle. Mags seem cheap noname brand but do they not function properly? I dont care much for them as I have LARs but I do wonder why I got only one mag.
Stock is crap and it keeps getting stuck, so a better stock is definitely somewhere in the future. Why do you say the tube is weird spec'd???
I would really like to see some kind of a paper manual or a piece of paper telling me where to find said manual. The impression I got this rifle is made in a basement of a ghetto with 3D-printed parts, no manual or any paper reference whatsoever and an absolutely plain box with not even a caliber indication.
Looks like out of stock again as of 07 01 2020.wolverine supplies is showing they have WS-MCR 556 in-stock again
The mcr needs a triangle folding stock. Or an Ace folder possibly.
Stock and or buffer recommendations?
My MCR stock is unusable. Sticks every time
does anyone know roughly the serial numbers of the ones with heat treatment issues?

that was a WK-180 bolt carrier issue and I don't think they left the factory in numerical order example 0123,0124,0125.
Alright, thank you. Starting to show wear on mine at under 100 shots. Definitely concerned.

I hope we are not confusing bolt carrier issues(that were not heat treated right (or if at all) with wear in the upper receiver if your running the charging handle on the left side. Wear on the left inside is normal on the wk-180 and some more than others... call it the new normal lol.
I was confusing them until you just helped me understand. The wear I'm referring to is on the receiver. I thought perhaps it was because of shoddy aluminum in the receiver, but i have apparently mixed up the two issues. Thanks for correcting me.
Can someone kindly explain what an "External Bolt Catch Release" does for the WK180-C?
Thanks in advance.
It allows you to lock the bolt open without needing an empty mag or sticking your finger in the mag well and to drop the bolt without pulling the bolt handle back.
Neither the WK or WS comes with an external bolt catch.
