First let me begin by saying I have never fired a scoped rifle, always iron sights. That said I recently purchased a SWIFT 4 X 20 WATERPROOF SCOPE at an auction with the idea of trying it out on my H&R 45-70, I did not pay a whole lot for it.
It showed up a few days ago and I immediately noticed when looking through the scope I get a good view with the right 'eye relief' but instead of making things appear closer it makes things look farther away.
Is it possible one of the lenses could be in backwards? Like I said I know nothing about scopes so maybe that's the way it's supposed to be.
Thanks, Retreever
