Yes, but the handguard will require modification if you are not running a GSG 5 cocking tube housing.

My Airsoft fixed MP5 stock, I just had to take a little material off the stock, so it wasn't soo tight. You'll see when you try and put it on where it hitting.

I’m running with GSG-5 cocking tube, just found myself a GSG-5 collapsible stock and handguard, hopefully can go on without any mod.
 


Here is mine so far. Bushnell TRS-25 reddot, A3 Tactical modular vertical grip, Magpul RSA on the stock and a Mag Grip magazine coupler. I'm still waiting on an airsoft collapsible stock, HK push pins, and an MP5 rear sight.

Secondly I didn't realise I'd have to chamfer the feed ramp and notch the barrel for the extractor. If I can at least get the short barrel threaded in I might take it to a local gunsmith for that, if not I guess I'm sending the gun to Dlask in shame haha

Were you ever able to get it out? I took mine apart the other night and could not for the life of me figure out how to remove the barrel. I didn’t even notice the hex screw.

Debating if I should cut my losses or try to find a local gunsmith.

The vertical grip looks really nice! Great setup!!
 
Question for those who have done the conversion, have you done anything to address the 5/8" gap between the top rail and the new cocking tube? It's slicing the hell out of my hand when I slap the new cocking handle.

Also, the bushings the top rail screws thread into are kinda loose and not torquing all the way, need to glue them in place or something.

My part shipped from HK on April 17th, and arrived in Ottawa on July 8th.

Tracking through HK Post & eventually Canada Post was never updated. It just showed up one day.

I may have a piece of an old rail delete, that you could cut up and tape in place.

The top rail screws, just screws into brass bushings that gets sandwiched between the 2 receiver halves. They will just free spin. If you glue them in, you may glue the 2 halves together.
