Thank you. So "48" is the year? Bore is bright and mirror shiny, like new. There's a minor dent in wood at the rear of checkpiece.
Very nice rifle but I am not convinced the market will be quite as lucrative as some are suggesting. Lots to like about the rifle but being an early one (not integrated scope bases) means you either have to d/t it (reducing value) or live with iron sights if you intend to hunt it, and not nearly as many people are interested in a 8x57 vs a 7x57.
