Can anyone suggest a new trigger spring kit for a CZ Shadow 2.
I think it's pull is too heavy.
What to buy and where.
Thanks
Learn how to shoot first.
Yes, in single action for sure. (OP: pull the hammer back and try dryfiring then)Compared to other guns, I always thought these had a very light trigger.
Practice that DA pull all day long, it will make you a better shooter.

Yes, do this. Looking back, it's easy to see how what I wrote might suggest to dryfire in SA only. This wasn't my intent.+ Put a quarter on the front sight. Maintain the grip. Pull DA. Repeat. How many times can you do that before the quarter falls?

I also shoot the S2. I replaced the mainspring with a 13# one only because the offhand DA I find a bit tough (I tore a muscle in my forearm about 2 years ago and dammit it still hurts). That said I've missed a couple of easy alphas with the single action, because damn it's light. You go to ride the sear and pop off she goes. So I guess I'm saying is try and get comfortable with it as factory, and you can lighten from there, but if you learn with a light action, and then have to beef it up (new gun, light primer strikes etc) you're really going to be unhappy. Or hey, go for the orange edition![]()
For the money the shadow 2 is simply hard to beat, there's a reason so many competitive shooters either own one or used to.
I see the Orange, but never looked to see what the difference is, other than the money
BTW while back I had a new Jericho and the DA and SA on that was super., friend of mine liked it so much I had to take money from him.
