CZ Shadow 2 needs a better trigger action, springs, etc.

Can anyone suggest a new trigger spring kit for a CZ Shadow 2.
I think it's pull is too heavy.

What to buy and where.
Thanks

You can put lighter hammer spring to reduce double action pull, but overall it should have weight. I found that single action is too light.

the most basic upgrades for a s2 are the following;

10# recoil spring
11.5/13# main spring
Reduced power Trigger return spring

this will reduce the DA to roughly 5.5#, and SA to 3#

or you can go all out and go the following kit

Cajun Gun Works #75800 Shadow S-2 Kit

I installed these on my 3 S2's, and they work great

other upgrades should be the
TR-PIN S-7 tool steel floating trigger pin

Learn how to shoot first.

Just maybe he knows already, Heavy means a lot of thing to different people, gritty is had , LA weigh is bad for target shooting, good for them.
I like 3 pound SA, but have target pistols that are weighed in grams.
Way more to it than just changing a spring or two, Too light , miss fires.
BTW I put a new match trigger and sear spring in my Jericho, same thing, as CZ, mine where worn; I got them from Freedom Ventures as they where in stock.

Thanks to everyone who replied. All good data for the future.

I think mebiuspower, while blunt, hit the nail on the head.
I should just learn to shoot properly.

Cheers

Compared to other guns, I always thought these had a very light trigger.
Yes, in single action for sure. (OP: pull the hammer back and try dryfiring then)

The OP might have been dryfiring the gun in DA and felt the 7+lb DA pull is too heavy. The factory SA will be much lighter.

I also shoot the S2. I replaced the mainspring with a 13# one only because the offhand DA I find a bit tough (I tore a muscle in my forearm about 2 years ago and dammit it still hurts). That said I've missed a couple of easy alphas with the single action, because damn it's light. You go to ride the sear and pop off she goes. So I guess I'm saying is try and get comfortable with it as factory, and you can lighten from there, but if you learn with a light action, and then have to beef it up (new gun, light primer strikes etc) you're really going to be unhappy. Or hey, go for the orange edition ;)

For the money the shadow 2 is simply hard to beat, there's a reason so many competitive shooters either own one or used to.

I see the Orange, but never looked to see what the difference is, other than the money
BTW while back I had a new Jericho and the DA and SA on that was super., friend of mine liked it so much I had to take money from him.

I too had a 941, not a bad pistol but not on par with a shadow2. I know I had a real issue with the roll pin on the trigger working itself loose, something I've never had with the shadow. Trigger is better and the action is smoother. Plus I never liked the whole safety-on-the-slide feature of the iwi one, it just seemed like an afterthought, and got in the way.
