2020 moose hunt

Didn't draw moose (or elk) so I'll OTC moose and/or elk instead.

Depends on what it is, for me, I wouldn't pay much, or anything, for a hunt like moose as I can hunt them by draw or OTC fairly easily. That being said, I would happily pay for different hunts depending on which game it is. For something like an elk I'd pay semi-guided/drop-in fees of up to 2500$. For anything like bison, goat or sheep (sheep is wishfull thinking), I'd pay up to 8000$ if timing is right and it would have to be a heck of a trip. These would be North-American hunts where I can do most of the travelling by road and some air. I honestly wouldn't know what I would pay for an international trip, TBH, Australia and NZ look like the only international destinations I would hunt and going through the hurdles of getting my rifles there and meat/trophy back, sounds like a pain in the but so the price would definitely have to be right.

Copy that mate,
i might make a seperate post in cming days to envolve everyone in the discussion, as its just a thought but might be cool for you canadian fellas an international species/hunt holiday for not much more really, for a week to 10 days etc, everything covered so to speak but few fine print involved, as our rules an regs are nothing like canada in terms ofguides and needing a guide to hunt etc....... i thnk it woud be worth while for alot of guys to see Aus and i get to show the world Sambar deer

Neither my son or myself was successful. Wasted dollars. Oh well i will still be in the bush during the week bowhunting Whitetails. Cant get enough of the great outdoors

Bull tag again this year for archery. Got a surplus cow tag as well and our cabins booked so hoping for another successful hunt. Had a bull tag last year and our tag holder had to go home early so got nothing. Needless to say he’s staying home this year.

We’ve been very successful over the years getting tags but have switched from rifle to archery and many WMU changes to better our chances. We have a very good group of hunters so that’s a real bonus.

For the right price, as well as the opportunity to visit Australia, I would definitely jump on such an opportunity. Maybe if CANZUK ever happens, these opportunities will flourish even more!

You only like once, so go hunting.

After 1200+ phone calls, managed a cow tag gun in WMU 17. Dreadful place to hunt from what I've read so far.
Anyone have experience near Nakina, Ontario? Looking for info on a river into an area not restricted to 1st nations.

Most of that unit is restricted to air access as roads are forestry use only I understand. North of the ogoki the group I attend with has filled a tag every year
