Didn't draw moose (or elk) so I'll OTC moose and/or elk instead.
Depends on what it is, for me, I wouldn't pay much, or anything, for a hunt like moose as I can hunt them by draw or OTC fairly easily. That being said, I would happily pay for different hunts depending on which game it is. For something like an elk I'd pay semi-guided/drop-in fees of up to 2500$. For anything like bison, goat or sheep (sheep is wishfull thinking), I'd pay up to 8000$ if timing is right and it would have to be a heck of a trip. These would be North-American hunts where I can do most of the travelling by road and some air. I honestly wouldn't know what I would pay for an international trip, TBH, Australia and NZ look like the only international destinations I would hunt and going through the hurdles of getting my rifles there and meat/trophy back, sounds like a pain in the but so the price would definitely have to be right.
Copy that mate,
i might make a seperate post in cming days to envolve everyone in the discussion, as its just a thought but might be cool for you canadian fellas an international species/hunt holiday for not much more really, for a week to 10 days etc, everything covered so to speak but few fine print involved, as our rules an regs are nothing like canada in terms ofguides and needing a guide to hunt etc....... i thnk it woud be worth while for alot of guys to see Aus and i get to show the world Sambar deer
