How are guys selling these rifles on EE I thought they were on the list?

I have one of these rifles and I haven't been shooting it since the ban.

Anyone been stopped while shooting their MS, MV or BCL Coyote yet?

JT, speaking moistly, did not name the rifle family/platform that the RCMP designated the frt as MV MS etc. They could be traced back to designs by several rifle designers but to no one rifle in particular. It isn't a variant or modified version of one on the list.

He did retire so depending on the timeline that may not be the case

You should print out the full text of the law SOR/98-462 on which the gun is clearly not listed, if you intend to go out and shoot with one of those, and a copy of the original non-restricted FRT.

they arent. you can still use them by law. people just dont want to be the one who goes to court with the rcmp over their non-legal opinion about a magazine.

I think he retired just after the FRT changes were made to the Sporter, SLR, and various other mag fed shotguns etc.

Murray retired for 2 or 3 days then went back as a contractor.
And yes he is named in some of the actions personally. Hope he has deeeeeep pockets, he is gonna need them.

OP the OIC does not mention any of our Modern lineup of rifles, only the illegally altered and redacted FRT has been changed from NR to prohib. I suspect a few LE will make a deal if you get checked but any that have more than 1 IQ point won't when presented with the substantiating paperwork we provide. The Crown does not like looking bad and until the LAW states a change in status any charges should be dropped right away. YMMV however.
