already happened in NWO cabin country . million dollar cabins built on private land , but the road to get to the cabin goes thru Treaty land.
There's absolutely no reason to stop on the res and spend money or spread covid , but they have blocked the road to the cabins..
Can still go to your cabin on private land VIA water access ....
the cabins on land lease they will block and eventually burn down , just like in KENORA, they are too stupid to rent out the cabins for profit or hell , even live in them. so F## it just burn em down ..
there very well could be succesful metis / FN people who own the cabins , but they just think only the whiteman can succeed.
anyone who has worked up north has a story. They will get all the supplies shipped via ice road to build a school or 10 houses. someone will burn the storage building down ,, then the suplies need to flown in at a 10X cost cause theyll be #####in and moaning they dont have a school yet .. in reality one of their fine young succesful bright future residents burned the #### up

I know I am very much looking forward to a week in the wilderness away from the mayhem, don’t know how I’d react to a guarded gate on my way to my spot. Pretty certain I wouldn’t shrug and head home.
