Black Bear meets 375 Ruger

Well it's hard to deny that the 375 Ruger, is in fact VERY COOL, the unsung hero in this thread is that Nosler Accubond.

.

Oh sure. Shoot from an angle that allows the bullet to travel through soft inards and then tout what a great round you have.;)

I suppose you should have used a 375 Ultra that way you could have destroyed more meat and it would have been much deader .

Yep where's all the naysayers harping about bonded bullets being a ploy to suck money out of our wallets?

I was their #1 fan last year after taking 3 deer with them. (165 AB, 300 wsm)

This year is another story .............................

A week ago I hit a buck broadside at a ranged 240 yards. The shot was placed right behind the front leg and it grenaded on contact. I found shrapnel in the form of copper and bone chips in both the thoracic and abdominal cavity (the shot was well forward of the diaphragm). There was NO exit.

Yesterday same rifle, same load. A 2 year old black bear at around 50 yards. The entry was big enough I could put my whole fist in it and the exit was about the diameter of a pencil.

I really think it is a bad lot of bullets and I will test some into water jugs when I have a free morning.

Hahahaha.
Rule number one of the intraweb. Do not attempt to make Gatehouse look foolish, or he will send TodBartell after you.
Rule number two of the intraweb. Do not attempt to argue with Gatehouse, or he will make you into a quiche.
