What are you paying for?
As I said, it's a deluxe trainer rig/PRS rifle. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to denigrate the Vudoo, it's a very well made rifle for it's intended purpose. Consider that a Savage MKII can be competitive in PRS, the Vudoo provides all the accuracy you "need" to stand on the podium in these events. They are very much a test of the shooter, how you manage your DOPE and call the wind. Benchrest is a different story, the rifle and ammo are the name of the game there. A Vudoo barrelled action will never make any waves in the National BR circuit. BR is a game of "C" hairs, and well, the Vudoo's hairs are just a little too thick
It is Rem 700 based, and entirely interchangeable with stocks and triggers for the centerfire version. I.E... Your trainer for the Big Boy. You are paying for a finely crafted rifle that replicates your centerfire rig so you can train at a lower cost without burning out your barrel.
