Wolf.

They are biologist that are keeping track of wolves tmin Minnasota. Look alot like the ones in your pic. They track wolves across the border into Canada too.

Its amazing the stuff they find, They say most of the wolf kills are Beaver, More than moose and deer

Not ours, they prefer bigger game, usually ungulates. :(

It's probably a coyote since it's not prime,not furred out. Coyote it is! Confirmed
A prime coyote would be easy to pick out.
 
definatly coyote shot quite a few that were very large,still chassing a monster male that il get this year .was too far for my 223 to take clean but the creedmoore will reach out and touch him this year!

First one is definitely a coyote, second one, maybe not so. Face appear wolf like and it has big enough feet, wolf is a possibility.
 
over last couple of years I've noticed apparent change in the appearance of the coyotes I've encountered within GTA area (west). While few years back they would appear proper coyote like, last winter and spring they seem to be breading pups (first year?) that have heavier necks and stockier look all around (alike to the first picture of this thread). Don't know what to make of it. Could it be just a difference of build during different time of the year? Food availability?

A fat coyote differs from a thin one, same with summer and winter pelage.:)
