MRA Renegade Rifles, Parts, and Kits now available

Anyone else's anodizing on the upper and lower pretty different? I might just end up Cerakoting mine as it will probably annoy me. Just worried about making the tolerances too tight with added Cerakote. Thoughts?

Prob annodized in different batches....coat them in oil, it'll turn them blacker, and may get rid of the slight difference in colour

Yeah, I realize that, and the colour difference is more than slight. It is what it is, just not what you expect from a complete receiver set IMHO. My question was more about the Cerakote, and how people’s tolerances were when assembling. If it went together difficultly I don’t wanna make it even worse lol.

Not just YHO. Shouldn't take long to peruse a few threads about other manufacturers offerings where you would think slight variations are a capital offence, lol. But otherwise, I would tend to agree with you that the difference is fairly pronounced.

Not exactly sure your meaning in the first part of your reply. The colour variation sucks, but it’s whatever. The machining looks nice at least.

My anodizing is just like yours, you could send it to ATRS and they could re anodize it properly

I’m also interested to hear about the tolerances of receivers that have been cerakoted.
