Well , I questioned it's gender two weeks ago when we noticed it was still in vevet . couldn't get a close look at it from 300 yds. off, even using a spotting scope and/or 10 power binocs .Yes, you can shoot her, with a standard tag. The ministry considers it a buck, as it has antlers, and, walking through the bush towards you, in season, no way you could tell it from a buck..
Prolly 40 miles North as the crow flies or the noxious fumes drifthow far was this from the cedar narrows logging road?..i just knew our out house had a bad gas coming from it,that would affect the wild life![]()
ya we got a cow up about the 58 marker....but the sighting were slim this year
