Aero Precision along with many manufacturers use nylon tipped set screws which can be had at many Canadian retailers along with Brownells.

Mine is not.
I'm fine with using an all steel set screw.
The nylon tipped style will avoid any scratches, so theoretically they are better.

That’s why I would like them to make a end plate the covers both upper and lower with a QD attachment the fits the QD slot On the lower, equipped with a swivel sling ring where the quick connect button would be. With the slots for the upper, and QD in lower and the buffer tube nut tightened against it I am sure it would keep it tight with no gap. Combined with the tension screw solid as a rock! My thoughts...

We are working on a A2 adaptor plate. I think we could make a QD plate also.
We chose the current design becuase it is a simple laser cut piece making it cheap and quick to produce. This helps us keep the costs down so we can allocate more resources to the CNC of the Receiver.

How is that any different than 90% of the AR 15's ? That is common to a 2 piece design that has zero effect on function from what I've read over the years.

Never owned one, and this is not an AR. Your set must have no issues. Or your fine with sub par quality.... this product is not sub par I Just expected more that’s all.

If you have never owned an AR type receiver or a black rifle which has a receiver set how can you insist its sub par quality if there is nothing for you to compare it to?
