It was $560 to the door after taxes and shipping, and came with 3 mags.I will try and get pics up this weekend. Anyone know a web site to help me strip this thing??? I don't haver a clue how to get this thing apart...

from another posting on this site , Marstar have 3 containers of M305`s comming in , last year i got mine for $427 delivered to my door.only one mag though . A friend of mine who couldnt wait spent $550 . just means i have more cash to feed it .

i have no issues with the postage..... got here faster than any other mail order purchase i've had. either way dark's deal still comes in around marstars end price...you only get 1 magazine with thiers and it's a shorty.
waiting is silly.... but... that leaves more at dark for me to snap up hehehe
i'll be ordering 2 more within days
seems strange that marstars order isn't here.... yet many retailers out there are getting inventory before them...... maybe thier order just isn't coming..... one would think that with all thier experience in importing of high numbers of firearms from various countries over the years..... they woulda been the first canadian retailer to get thier stuff...... or at least have a better idea of when they will get thier stuff....... instead we get told .... a couple more months.... then when that passes.... oh.... just a couple more months...... and on and on it has been. I'm not knocking john and crew, i really like marstar.... but i'll buy my norc m14s now while i KNOW i can get one for sure.
I'm not one to turn down something I really want just over a few bucks.... what maybe 20.00 by the time you factor in the extra mags from dark....... do the math... there's not much difference between the two prices

to order the exact same thing including mags which are extra at marstar..... my end price including shipping..... 541.43 assuming 25.00 for shipping which is included in the 541.43
so..... your holding out over a 20.00 difference....... that's just silly boys and girls

Pretty good. I've only shot mine with Canadian military surplus ammo and iron sights and its more accurate than I can hold at 100 yards. At 200 yards I can hit a gong most of the time, but the gong is smaller than the front sight at that distance. I've installed a scope and hope to report back on how good it actually is. Mods to mine are USGI stock and aftermarket spring and guide rod.
my latest m14s, purchased from dark a few weeks ago is performing well within what i have come to expect from these rifles. I have fired 30 rounds... first 10 at 100yrds were about 2.5 inch group
every round after that, fired in 5 rounds groups were all under 1.5 inches
I was using american eagle fmj .308 win and using a springfield gen3 scope mount with bushnell 3-9x40 3200 elite. I have not taken it to the range since fitting it to a new usgi stock so we will see if it has any effect, though i'm happy with it as it is shooting right now. Gonna take her mule deer hunting next week in some very open country ... my confidence in this particular rifle is high out to 300yards anyways.
