Remington 870 Wingmaster

I would like to have a Remington 870 Wingmaster 12ga with a 3in chamber. What is the likelyhood of getting an Express and modding it with chrome bolt and better extractor. Apparently a lot of the parts fit.

It is not correct that the wingmaster only comes in 2 3/4"

All the old ones ive seen say Wingmaster MAGNUM on the receiver that take 3". My old man has had his for 45 years at least, used it deer hunting every year

You can't put 3" in a 2 3/4" chamber. Why would you need to buy a different barrel? Just buy a shotgun with a 3" chamber.

Old Wingmasters were available in 3" versions.
