Has anybody else experienced this issue?
When feeding rounds from the magazine the bullets are marked on the bottom as they proceed into the chamber. I don't see any burrs on the front of the magazine that would cause this - has anybody else experienced it?
Would these marks be enough to impact accuracy? I have not experienced the incredible accuracy that everybody raves about from my particular axis yet - however I only recently bought it and have only tried one ammunition type - Federal NonTypical 140gr. The performance has been sufficient for deer (4in at 100yd) but not mind blowing, next trip to the range I will single load the rounds to eliminate this possibility.
Would you think this is grounds to order a new magazine from Savage?
