Kriss Vector SBR .22LR 6.5 Non Restricted

I had a gen2 9mm Vector; thought I'd love it; didn't. I don't care how cool a gun is...when you take a design that is geared towards full-auto short-barrel use, and then saddle it with a heavily-shrouded 18.5-inch barrel and semi-function, the cool (along with the ergonomics and balance) immediately evaporates.

This short little job, even as a semi-auto, looks like irresistible fun....once it's in stock on the shelves.

^ Agreed. I had the 9mm Vector as well as the PS90 NR, both were just watered down versions of what they were meant to be.

This is the reason I've never owned a vector. Couldn't bring myself to like the long barrel, and couldn't justify the cost of a range only restricted short barrel.

This little guy is as close as we're likely going to come to a short barrel NR Vector. I don't love that it's rimfire, but at least it's made by Kriss. It should be a fun rimfire steel challenge rifle :)

Are they *still* at the FRT stage? I was under the assumption that pre-orders had been filled and the first batches had already been delivered.

Feb was retailer's forecasted delivery, but the coof delayed frt until the may 1st edict could be delivered, now I believe they are just dragging their heels on any new designs in anticipation of further edicts.

... yep, still waiting for the powers that be to get their crap together.

Aesthetics aside, it's a normal blowback rimfire rifle. What's the friggin' hold-up, fellas?

Maybe they would rather ban it before it crosses the border. I know I'm being cynical, but I really feel like the lab is exercising bias instead of doing their job. If these guys were private sector employees, they would have been sent packing long ago.

Oh, I'm 100% certain they're sitting on this (and most likely a ton of others) ...

Honestly, stuff like this is why I'm hesitant to get an FX9, NR or not. It's probably one of many models on the chopping block. Why wouldn't the Kriss and its variants be included?
