Lots of frustration these days. I've sold a few things on EE - deals went smoothly however the Canada Post delivery has been disappointing. No guarantees by purchasing "expedited" service. Tracking systems shows in transit with a delivery date however this come and go. Ontario to BC - 20 days and still not out of the Richmond Depot? what's going on? What are other folks experiencing?

I've got a few packages coming from Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales and it's only been a week so I'm not complaining. On another note though - my daughter ordered something on E-Bay from Singapore and it made it here in 3 days....and it was "free shipping"......ouch..

I am waiting on a package from Ontario no update since it was first scanned Nov 24 , also waiting on a package from Saskatoon since Nov 19, tracking states item delayed stay tuned for updates.

Ordered from Bullseye on the 25th. They shipped it expedited on the 27th. Was supposed to arrive on Monday. Today the status on CP's website went from "Expected by 8pm today" to "Expected delivery: Item delayed — stay tuned for updates". Somewhere between Stoney Creek ON and here there's a guy f#2%ng a dog on top of my package. When I have a choice I never choose CP but most of the time you don't.

I’ve ordered some stuff CP from Ontario. Processed at the Toronto location same day I ordered, hasn’t moved since. Delivery date gets moved every evening till the next day.

I have been waiting on a couple of items as well. Been in the depot in my city for 6 days. I heard the fellow at the post office telling someone the other day that there is no time delivery guarantee as Canada Post is working with a skeleton staff. Wasn't sure what he meant by that but then got to thinking. I don't know what other provinces are like but in Manitoba a place of business can only have 25% of its work force during this pandemic. I guess that would make quite a difference.

Yup.

Bought a small item on CGN in November. It was shipped on the 30th, and it keeps getting bumped.

Mind you, the parcel was mailed from less than 5 hours away...

I should have just gone and picked it up! Lol

Yeah same boat here, ordered a firearm back in March that one took 31 days to come from Mississauga to AB. It’s frustrating to say the least, but these guys & gals are swamped I Imagine. The weird part is if they are putting them in storage how are they deciding which one ships first. Maybe they are stacking their courier trucks like Tetris Haha.

BC regs are 50% capacity.

But Workers' Comp. Board gave us all the right to refuse to work if we "feel unsafe". All this with mandatory masks at work. Can't get fired for that either even at a non-union shop.

So pretty much CanPost can be at 10%.

Hope everybody understands however frustrating this is for both the Seller and the Buyer. Item has been in the Richmond BC Depot since Dec 3rd. Just checked status ---surprise, surprise---- " Item delayed - stay tuned for update". It will be interesting to see how many more days it takes to arrive at its destination - Duncan BC - 2 hours away?

I understand some situations and frustrations out there. I have had to endure some delays myself (and the wife) but everything has come through eventually and undamaged.

For the majority of parcels, I would rate the service as excellent.

i posted a letter from saskatoon to flinflon on nov19th
it got there yesterday
same day i posted a parcel to galway ireland and it got there today

there is 17 semi trailers waiting to be sorted in winnipeg, this is were everything is held up

Four and a half days since last scan in Saskatoon (not too far from Winnipeg) MDT order
Nine days since a last scan in Stoney Creek, ON / Bullseye North order

There is nothing we can do. No more ordering for me until the mail system starts to function again - probably mid to late January.

I see why Amazon has set up their own distribution system. I had avoided them for the most part until recently.

Same.. Got stuff in BC, that been there since the 27th.

Want to finish my Mauser so I can shoot it, only been building it for a year.

Yet I got a package from Nevada to Nova Scotia in like a week.

I ordered some brass, it hasn't arrived yet. Ordered something from Bezos, it arrived in less than a week.

I had a package that was in Richmond for four days checked in the morning on the fourth day it said it was in Richmond still but it was in my box.... must have snuck through I guess, got lucky

Delivery time are all over that place, reg parcel get there faster than expedited, don't see mail for weeks, the post box is full and over flowing.. But I get lots of junk mail.
