Actually since we're in such a pissy mood tonight, the point is 32 rd mags are prohibited devices. I didn't say anything about full auto.

No, masturbation is Airsoft. I use the real deal guns (there's video evidence too!). Getting a live FA version with 32 round mags would be like ### with Krystal Steal or whomever Sadly, like ### with Krystal, you only get it in the States ;(

just once i'd like to take my Mp44 or Vickers out to shoot .I can't beleave I turned down a DsHK this weekend whats the point it takes up too much safe space .I send a letter to Day al most every month to remind him about sap's I don't even get the standard form letter back they are so used to me .
We have a similar situation over here in NZ Marks; we can own functioning full-autos, but we can't shoot them with live rounds (blanks for re-enactor events is ok).
It can be frustrating at times, but I'd rather be in our situation than that of the UK, at least we can enjoy the weapon in it's original state rather than as a cut-up wielded paper weight.

On open bolt SMGs, it is advisable to pull back the bolt, then insert the magazine to fire. The reason being that if your hand slips off the handle it won't fire. Also it is faster for reload. When it goes dry, remove the magazine, #### to the rear, get a new magazine from the pouch and insert. Adjust grip around the magazine well or lower. This is a natural motion, and way faster.
Keep left hand on the pistol grip. #### by tilting to the right; insert mag, fire; remove magazine with right thumb; tilt the firearm to the right; ####, get mag; insert mag; adjust grip. Only slightly slower.
BTW: I shoot SMGs lefty too. I'm pretty good with Sterlings and Uzis even as a lefty.

wow, gorgeous gun Claven.
im used to seeing these in a lot more beat-up issued condition, seeing them 'NIB' like that is a treat. especially for a military SMG they really are a nice looking weapon.
a shame about the 5 round and semi-auto thing, but hey when the zombies come you can always remedy that

You've seen MP38's in ANY sort of condition at all? All the "real" schmeissers I see are MP40's. Never saw an original MP38 "in the flesh" before, especially in Canada, and I've been around the block a time or two
