Let's say for the sake of the discussion that someone charges $250 to deactivate a firearm.
Send $250 to one of the court challenges instead, it's money better spent.
worth repeating, if we can set a precedent we have a chance longer term

Just curious who deactivates around Vancouver, and a ball park figure for cost? For an ar15.
Just gathering all options. For a Lego gun like this, deactivation seems like a decent option.
Edit; of course I want nothing more than the law to be reversed and to shoot the thing more. But I don't sell guns, I just buy em. So if the confiscation goes through and grand fathering doesn't happen, this is my last option to keep it.
Unfortunately it's restricted so unfortunate boating accidents don't get ATTs and Mike in Canmore wasn't interested.
Don't deactivate anything !!!! Strip it down and either sell the parts off or use them on other non banned rifles
If it ever comes down to it just sell them the stripped upper and lower. Nothing but the upper and lower are banned you can sell every single part off your AR right now if you want
Gotta feelin' that by the time they come a knockin', they'll want the whole AR in operating condition. After all, they suddenly banned the upper. So do it quick!
The only thing with a registration number is the stripped lower half.
But they want it all!
