I know of a product called the MatchSaverz Shotshell Holder but they only hold 1 round, or perhaps this is what your after.

What I have attached to my forend is is 5 card shotshell holder that is attached via hook & loop allowing an empty card to be replaced with another.

If your looking for hook and loop cards, here is one option out of many.

I just purchased a Vortex Crossfire Red dot to replace the Vortex Venom and SPARC 2 that I was going back and forth with. I feel the Crossfire is a happy medium between being to small and too big.

I haven't seen a Gen 2 come in since I bought mine early last year. I imagine more will trickle in soon once the 1 and 1.5's are sold through.

I see you reversed that Nordic clamp 1ABNDT and mounted a bayonet. How is the retention on that? I imagine you must have had to find a near perfect fitting knife for it?

I purchased mine in 2019 and any GEN2 that came in since then was gone in a heartbeat, I would suggest that anybody wanting a shot at the next tranche of GEN2 Tac sign up for email alerts from dealers.

I did it as a R&D project it is fairly sturdy(enough to hurt) although could be better, especially on a slashing motion. The knife is a Kabar Tanto 5" I already have for EDC and it fit perfect. My plan is to get a quick release Picatinny rail 1" / 45 degree flashlight mount for the knife that will completely envelop the knife handle giving it a far more stable platform. That way it's not permanent, so I can switch between that and a quick release laser/light combo.

Sounds about right. As far as I can tell, I bought the only Gen 2 that made into the country since April.

Interesting, nice pick up then! I know some Gen 1.5's came in, but I hadn't seen any 2's. I wanted to get another one myself ;)
 
Watched the video and he’s right about the recoil. Lucky enough to shoot both at the same session. The Versamax soaks up the recoil , trap load, 00 buck and 2 3/4 in magnum. With the 1301 you know which round you’re firing and it is stout. I’ll stick with my Versamax
 
^ you don't figure the fact the Versamax is 1.5+lbs heavier has something to do with that? Recoil from my nearly stock 1301 is not bad at all. I only shoot buck and slugs.

I would agree its "felt" as I have shot it with a "solid buffer" tube and it was quite manageable I was pleasantly surprised, just takes longer to get back to target. Depending on which Versamax model you have it would certainly make a difference, I'm going to assume tactical which would give you an extra 4" over the 1301T that would help with recoil and muzzle flip. Comparing running the solid buffer tube to running the "KYNSHOT HYDRAULIC BUFFER TUBE" is reduces felt recoil on this setup by 50-60%all day long.

The extra weight helps and depending where you need it, like putting the shot card ahead of the AFG weight forward "control muzzle" rise (more for my situation) but its well balanced, like I mentioned above that "KYNSHOT HYDRAULIC BUFFER TUBE" reduces the recoil 50 % easy. It allows a one armed guy to hold a red dot at 150 ft and unload a 6 slug/00 burst without leaving a full ipsc silhouette and staying within 12"-24" with a full choke 80- 90% of the time. I would feel this is fair for a 18.5 barrel, destroying it at 50 ft center mass in a 30"x30" target so imagine what it would do for someone with two arms. That is if you are looking for a "pistol girp" set up as thats the only way of benefitting from the hyd damper.

I bought an improved cylinder choke so I could shoot slugs without worrying about reaming it out. I don't normally worry about that but Beretta specifically states no slugs through anything tighter than that.

Also got two extended chokes (IC/IM) to try out as well since my mag extension protrudes a bit anyway. Buying the chokes wouldn't be so bad if they weren't $95 each! I'm looking forward to the results though. Even with the straight cylinder choke it patterns nicely. I suppose it's the backboring.
