...I see that global warming is so bad that they get stuck in ice in July!!
Is there a practical reason for piloting through the ice at that speed? I realize that the distances are long but they sure seemed to be booting through some of those sections and they were swerving around ice.
And wouldn't aluminum be a better choice for hull materials?
It's kind of like in the jungle of Panama where my young helicopter pilots would like to fly our Hughes 500s low along the creek beds when we could just as easily be 500' above the canopy and be a lot safer.
