Like the title asks: where are people buying rifle powder???


Are people just not shooting , is there a secret line on powder???? Do people really have stocks this deep???



Where is the rifle powder in Canada????

My son bought 32 of varget.

If you are running out during a shortage - it means poor planning when there was lots. Powder stores well.
 
Generally there is a draught of reloading components during the winter months. Furthermore with this pandemic, hand-loaders are possibly attending the gun ranges more often, which equals more sales. With a new USA Presidential Administration, and a nut-bar at the helm here in Canada, who knows what will happen in the gun world. Best to try and find what you really require and put aside.
The hole in the wall gun stores is a great start. I've found hidden treasures in these small sporting business. Best of luck!
 
Cabelas was a dead end, kept checking and checking, but none, so l decided to place an order with Higginsons, and bought 8 lbs. The whole process was great , price was good and delivered right to my place. Will certainly do it again.
 
Normally I wouldn't do this but you went on to say "like the title says". It says "Where are people being powder?"

Anyway, to answer your question, all over the place. A bunch of the sponsors have stuff in stock. Cabelas still had stuff when I was in there last.
 
Somebody is selling (tries to sell) 8lbs 4895 and wants a PAL for a must on the offer?!

Since when do you need a PAL for buying powder?
