3 Powders

Alliant Power Pistol - works well in all semi auto pistol calibers.
IMR 8208 XBR - Gotta have an easy-metering rifle powder for high volume progressive reloading. Would work for most calibers that I currently load with 8208, IMR 4198, and H4895.
H4350 - A bit fast for my biggest cases but covers a lot of bases. I prefer H1000. But H4350 works better in the big cases than H1000 in the smaller ones!

I don't load for pistols but I do shoot cast so perhaps I'm not fit to answer your question BUT....
1----UNIQUE ( BUTTTTT.....I'd like to perform CPR and bring back to life SR4759 !!! )
2----VARGET (I'm surprised at how few people have listed this gem)
3----IMR4350

There is a BIG difference between the powders I "could" get by on if I could only have 3,
and the number I actually have on hand and use.
That number is much closer to 25 choices, lol. Dave.

I'm not far behind you, Dave, at least 20 different kinds. I've sold some off and still have some for sale on EE.

On the right hand side, what I own and would reloiad with:

One universal pistol powder: either HP-38, Unique, or Universal: 38 Sp., 357 Mag, 44 Sp. 44 mag, 9X19, 45ACP

One medium burn rate rifle powder: Either H322, H4895, IMR4895, or Varget: 30-30, 9.3X57, 450 Marlin

One Magnum rifle powder: Either IMR7828, H1000, IMR 7977, RL25, or MRP2.: 6.5X55, 257 Wby, 300 H&H
