The generous amount of total elevation/windage built into modern scopes allows for easier zeroing on mass produced rifles. Internal adjustment range of these scopes can compensate for any irregularities in the base/ring/receiver/barrel. Once zeroed, most hunters will not need more than 14MOA of adjustment to engage game. If more adjustment is required, there are other models from Leupold that allow for greater elevation travel.
