Nice work, nice looking pelts congrats, I remember hunting wolves when I lived in Yellowknife, they are smart as hell but we managed to get a couple each year.

Very nice shooting and thanks for sharing the pics and the storey. I was out yesterday for coyotes, four sets, three properties, lots fo fresh sign....ZERO coyotes.

Just a heads up, according to another thread (ar15 shooting at coyote) thats not how you hunt and if you take more than one shot you are a POS.

Awesome thanks for sharing! I took a wolf with 223 once as well she didn't get too far, I think its as common misconception that you need way more gun than is actually required. Cheers!

Absolutely. They are tough as hell but not much can survive a perforated boiler room. I think lots of people hit them far back and in that case they can go for a long time.

$175 per wolf and $70 per coyote plus 10% environmental fee and tax.

Sure different in bc license and tags run from April 1 to March. Don't need tags for Wolf and no bag limit in the North.

Wolves are closed all July in region 7a
