Why are so many MRA Renegades quickly put on the EE?

Because every time I see one it just reminds me of how the government fvcked us and that we're one step closer to single shot everything. I dont disparage people who have a bunch of ar parts to use up. I get that you wanna do something with them.

On the other hand..... I think that these straight pull rifles, being of novel design and able to be built like lego with the plethora of AR parts out there is just bringing something different to the table.
Would these rifles and others of similar design be on the market without the bans? I don't know but I would like to think that yes, regardless of the bans these types of firearms would have appeared in the market sooner or later. Reason being is that they also compete in the market with the pump action designs that are AR-similar.

So I choose to look on the bright side..... I'm not an AR fan really. That is just that I personal do not have a use for 223/556 although I do realize they are a multi cal platform.... just never got into it. I'm more into the .308 sized market and fine the larger frame very comfortable to shoot. So here is the bright side for me..... Now I have an excuse to buy a bunch of AR and AR10 type parts and build some guns. I would like to get them custom ingraved "##### Trudeau" on the clean side LOL

SBI has stated they developed the Light Practical Carbine in mind for short barrel manual action firearms. It happened to be ready in time that it could be ready for the OIC; no doubt that it uses the letters "LPC" are a frack you to the Liberal Party of Canada.

I didn't see any on EE in the past few days, must have been sold quick, but I did just ordered two sets from FOC over the weekend. I got the x95 as well, get both options and enjoy life before the damn libs take more away from us.

forgot to say, need to continue to support our Canadian manufactures so they can keep fighting for this bs.

I am curious as to real user feedback on the renegades and mavericks and honest reviews from those who have built them and actually shot them at targets or critters. I just need a short lightweight rig for treestand hunting and have a bunch of premium parts I could build a Maverick with.

I pulled apart my long-range AR-10 and put all the pieces on a Maverick receiver set. Only one range outing so far, but I kind of like it. Of course my original purpose for the AR-10 was target shooting from the bench [or prone] and the experience isn't all that different...slow, aimed fire. Believe me, I am _not_ happy about the OIC situation and would love to see it overturned [and a bunch of other measures scrapped]. But as it is...at least I have another decent .308 to shoot besides my one turn-bolt rifle. Depending how you set your rifle up, I see no reason it wouldn't do a fine job for still- or treestand hunting.

Looking at building a short barreled 300 BLK on either Renegade or LPC, how short can one go and still clear 26" with a standard carbine buffer tube + stock? Will a 10 or 11" barrel meet requirements?

Mine is 29.5" from collapsed stock to the end of barrel. I have a 14.5" barrel. 10" with a small muzzle device would put it a hair over 26".

My 5 AR'S aren't for sale and I don't give a fuock what comes on here. NOT ONE SCREW will they get. FORNICATE the turd.
