The 25-06 is a fine cartridge, and I have often thought of getting one built on a lh Rem 700 action to mate up with my 280 Rem and 338-06. Would be a great trifecta of cartridges to cover almost all game, the world over.
The 250 AI really caught my attention years ago after reading an article about a Charlie Sisk Walk-Around rifle chambered to the cartridge. I didn't have a wildcat cartridge, and could get Quality Cartridge to supply me with properly headstamped brass (an important factor to me). I don't believe I will own another wildcat, but am glad for this one. Still need to fine tune a handload with the 110 gr AccuBond for it. Not seeing the velocities that Ackley claimed for this cartridge as yet, but hope to try Re-26 in it and see if it improves. Am happy with its accuracy so far; sub MOA. Will even put 3 into less than an inch when using factory Winchester 100 gr ammo to fireform the first brass for load development, before I received the QC brass.
