I love my AR180Bs.
I love my WK180Cs.
I even love my Jard 48s.

BUT,,,

Maybe I am not getting it here but can someone explain to me what the difference is between the WS MCR and WX MCR?

From what I understand, Wolverine licensed the WS-MCR to Xtreme Gun Shooting Center in Winnipeg, so the receiver sets they produce are called the WX-MCR in order to distinguish between the two. I don't think there is any other difference between the two but could be wrong. I imagine the receiver sets are made to the same specs.

They're supposed to pretty much identical, the only difference being that the receiver on the WX is manufactured by Xtreme Gun Shooting Center and the receiver of the WS is manufactured by Spectre.

I posted a few items that eventually led to me returning my WX MCR to wolverine and keeping my WS MCR which is much better quality than the WX

.... and we used to be able to legally hunt with un-restricted AR's not all that long ago.

Funny how the talking points change when people do not fully know & accept whom the REAL enemy are and their REAL reasons for disarming. And it ain't the liberals you small mined gun owners.

Next go around the debate won't be between different versions of 180's. It' will be between which bolt action .22lr were still allowed to have when they ban the 180's.

We all want to point at the brain dead sheeple but it clearly also applies to the majority of the gun owning community as well. Not all, there's a small few on here who really get it, small being the key word.

Recently my nephew bought one of these two 180's (not going to say which one, and don't automatically assume which one) despite his crazy uncle advising otherwise. It was returned within a week. He clearly saw the issues himself.

When handling his new 180 all I could think of is how far we have allowed this bulls**t to fall, while also thinking about him having to hand in his AR.

That's my opinion on the entire 180 debate. Get your panties in a bunch if you want.

One will fall apart and the other won't.

the whole thing is going to s**t with not so slow incrementalism at this point ... with rifles we'd probably never even be talking about if it weren't for the entire mess .... and that's what you comment on ?

Thanks for helping make my point.

Here's a smiley face to help you with acceptance of this tyranny. :d

- said the man with the remarkably bunched panties, on a complete tangent from the actual topic :d

Dude, have a goddamn Snickers...

You're right, apologize to the OP.

As to the guns, after handling both I thought they both were not impressive. One had a clearly superior receiver set (but the rest of the components were average at best) , the other you couldn't give me one for free. Not hard to figure out which is which.

What's pathetic is complaining on a thread where that isn't the topic. The OP asked a very specific question, not for a derailing tirade.

I mean no offense towards you guys personally in saying it's pathetic by the way, I just have a habit of using quoted words in my replies. I agree with your sentiments, if you start a thread we could further discuss it there (though it's kinda like beating a dead horse around here).

Anyway, I'm assuming the WX isn't up to the same standards as the WS? I wonder how Wolverine feels about that seeing as how their name is still attached. Let's hope it's just "growing pains" or whatever on behalf of Xtreme Gun and that they'll improve with time.

The whole debate about these 2 failed abortions is mundane. Save your rent money for the kel tec guns su16 or rdb instead. Otherwise just wait till this "country" gets straightened out with all the r e t a r d e d boomers and millennals still croaking.

this ^^^

ws-mcr= Wolverine Specter [ballistics] Multi Caliber rifle
wx-mcr= Wolverine Xtreme [Gun] Multi Caliber rifle.

I liked the WS-MCR that I had a chance to play with [shout to NAS guns for the corn hub draw on that one]. I am not so sure for the wx or the KD, but you read all kinds of sh!t about all 3.

Well.......I went through the WX vs WS first hand, ive owned many of these rifles, new armalite 180B's to Kodiaks, when my WX arrived I still had two WS-MCR's in my safes.........firstly my WX was next to impossible to take down without a descent hammer and punch, all the others were no problem. Secondly the WX's receiver was not finished very well, poor light anodizing and many sharp edges , nothing was beveled or finished nicely, to top it off, my WS-MCR 7.62x39 upper didn't fit on it, very unhappy with that, so i called and spoke to the owner of WX company in Winnipeg, he was pretty knowledgeable but really didn't take any ownership for the rifles short comings, he did ask to send it back, i chose to send it back to wolverine and get a refund. I am sure many of you will chime in about how good your WX is but Im unable to listen to that when I have owned every other version without incident............the WX is a cheap WS-MCR copy to help wolverine out .................and thats it

At the range today I was looking at my WK-180 side by side with someone's WS-MCR.

Honestly the MCR looks like the aliexpress version of a WK.
Really cheap and rough looking.

What is it that you felt looked cheap on the MCR? I personally think it looks nicer with it's longer hand guard, nicer stock and "beefier" receiver set.

Wow, crazy, exact opposite from what most have said, my two Wk-180's were really lightweight crappy guns compared to my two WS-MCR's..............My WX-MCR was completely another story, returned for credit
