Project Suggestions

10mm, 357, 44 mag pump action PCC? A nice, short barrel with aluminum receiver and AR stock would be cool!

I also was pitching the idea to ROB.
Very underutilized action, dont know why more poelep dont like pump actions..??
Pistol caliber , take down would be nice.

Could scale up the reciver like bighorn armory did with there 89 chambered in 500sw and produce something similar to the timberwolf and model 1890.
Simple , tuff , easy to clone. My 0.02 guys

PCC
But start a new thread when ready, so that the end users can list desired features before designing begins.

Anything semi auto

I would think nobody wants to spend the time and money to R&D a semi auto in the current political climate. If the RCMP are willing to go after the ARTS Modern Hunter/Sporter rifles then I can't see how any other semi auto design would be Liberal-proof.

500 S&W would be AWESOME

A modern take on an Martini-Henry.
If it needs a rimmed cartridge maybe 7.62x54r or 30-30?
Otherwise, not sure what cartridge would be good. 223?

Until recently pump actions sat in a funny spot, not as fast as a semi and not as accurate as a bolt gun.

Also if the thread about Pedersoli pumps that went up the other day is any indication, what's currently available for pump action pistol caliber guns are simply not that reliable - at least not reliable enough for cowboy action for most who take part in that.

Thanks to the current political climate maybe now would be a good time to try and make a decent pump action?

I agree..
The idea was flogged like a dead horse threw the " what should henry make" thread.. GLAD
Maple ridge is listening.. and capitalizing.
Nothin but money if you ask me..
Every loves the 5HUNDO

I'd be down for a reliable pump rifle. It's a spot in the market that really nothing had filled since the timberwolf.
Would be even better with slam fire.... Just saying.

What did those sell for new? I hear they're not cheap on the used market, close to $2k I want to say? (I could be way off though, not a gun I've ever followed closely and I might be getting it's price mixed up with something else)

A high capacity pump gun with a proprietary magazine allowing 30 round mags. In 223 or 308.
I also like the idea of a takedown bolt gun that fits in a more compact case.
Pistol caliber carbine cool too.
Magazine fed pump action shotgun like the sap 6. With high cap mags.
Not sure the levels of planning or engineering involved here, but these are things that interest me.
