Colt Canada Photo Contest

Diemaco had to sign that contract back when they started producing AR's for the Canadian military. they had no choice, sign, or no makey money. It was not their choice, it was the governments, and there is nothing they can do to fix it.

And, in response to their *choice* to agree to those terms, however sensible it was for them to agree to those terms, i say:

"Screw you, Diemaco/Colt! Write your own ad copy, and take your own damn stock photos. Don't come to me, hat in hand, asking me to help you make money."

Sure, I would have done the same thing they did, but I would also expect the people I won't sell to to tell me to right roundly #### off!

way back when i got mine( 90) colt used to be the cat's meow for the m16 /ar series- now that i've seen the tavor and the newer stuff, i WOULDN'T buy one regardless of how they config it- to me it's just another 223 -

So they want us to submit publishing-quality photos, grant them all copyright, and we get a hat(!?) in return? Whatever.. pay for your photos like everyone else, you cheap bastards..

Or Colt Canada could import some US made Colt AR15s and flood the market here with cut rate prices and other goodies. Now that Diemaco is part of Colt,, not like they were originally and were hamstrung by mother Colt.

If Colt Canada wanted to,,, they would find a way. At one time Colt provided a real AR15 to the DCRA Canadian Service Conditions Champion. Now they provide some cash for the bar at the meet and greet.

As for the photo contest,, whatever.

... I simply don't see how anything that gives more and positive exposure to our Warriors is a bad thing. JMO.

A picture on Colt Canada's website is positive exposure how exactly?

OR WE COULD ALL BUY DLASK.
a true way to say screw you, and still support the canadian indestry

..and an even better way to say 'screw us'....if Dlask was the only choice I wouldn't own an AR.
