Notwithstanding Gravel's rocky (pun intended) start with the PDP, we should be thankful that a Canadian distributor carries the Walther line so that we have access to this fine handgun. By all accounts, now that the plates have been sorted you ought to receive the correct parts in a timely manner from the moment you submit your serial number and Plate preference to Gravel. I cannot speak to Gravel's warranty work, never having availed myself of their services. I don't expect any significant problems with the PDP however, as its direct predecessor (the PPQ) was pretty much trouble-free. The PDP is well-built and ought to be sufficiently robust to take a beating and shrug it off. The PDP does everything the PPQ did, but sits lower in the hand and features a better trigger.
