Remington 870 Tactical Sights Question

Since we are being blunt, he did in the OP. Where he described what he was looking for and what he had. Hence the photos being posted and it being what he was looking for. You are right this is rdiculous, literally only you are confused as to what was being asked for or about

Well if so I'll be forked if I can see it because tactical shotguns do not come with rifle sights, at least in my experience and as I said to put one on a smooth bore shotgun with cylinder choke (and a short barrel) surpasses my understanding. Buy a rifle FFS.

But anyway, my strength is as the strength of 10 thousand because my heart is pure. And people sure did get worked up over this.

The OP was looking for a rear sight to replace the one that was missing..... you can call it a shotgun sight instead of a rifle sight if that makes you feel better.
One of my first 870's was an old police surplus gun that had the same barrel mounted sights.

Tactical is a bit of an overused marketing term and clearly the meaning of the term is open to interpretation and can trigger some folks.

You're out of you element Donny.

Your experience is not very much, remington has been using that sight system on their "tactical guns" for going on 30+ years now. in fact you could have just googled it and found thousands of pics of it. You know slugs exist right?

Your heart can be a pure as the driven snow, that does not mean you are not ignorant about sights on shotguns the the fact that slugs exist

I also love the playing the victim card once you realized that no one agreed with you coming in and pontificating about tactical sights, their use, or you infinite wisdom on tritium, despite no one asking about any of that.

Do I care about tactical sights? No!!!

But I do love those rifle sights on my 870 Police shotguns ...

Me too! I have couple of 14” 870p’s with short LOP stocks. Very “tactical.” Yet every time I shoulder my 18” Marine 870 with rifle sights, even with the full LOP I ask myself why I have the others. The sight picture just seems to be hardwired in for me: fast and completely effortless. Probably a good reason why rifle-sighted 870’s have been around for so long on the 870P.
