Ruger PCC Upgrades?

Like many of you I picked up a Ruger PCC in the last year. I ended up going with the MLOK model as it was on sale at the time and was $450+ cheaper than the chassis model. I've run 100 rounds of Winchester 115gr and 100 rounds of CCI Blazer 124gr through it without a single hiccup.

Where should I start for upgrading this rifle? I've heard mcarbo make certain replacement parts for this platform, are these parts worth upgrading? (trigger, extractor, bolt handle etc.)

What about sights, slings, magazines? Anything else?

Cheers!

I went with the Mcarbo stuff:

extractor
bolt head/extractor pins
trigger group pins
shock buffer
recoil spring retainer

Quality of the Mcarbo stuff is good, prices are not expensive ($133CAD for the above, plus tax/shipping). For what I'm using it for the OEM trigger works just fine.

Just put the Tandemkross mag release and receiver pins in my Cart from Rangeview.
Would prefer the jawbone mag release but cannot find it anywhere in Canada

What are we all using for magazines? 10/17 pmags?

I bought some cheap Korean 10/17's. If you take them apart and remove the plastic flashing stuck inside you can get them to work better.
Two of 3 I bought worked fine out of the bag, the third would fail to hold open on empty. Plastic flashing on the inside of the mag body was keeping the follower from rising fully upwards.

The 10 shot rivet is waaaay longer than required and can jam up the spring as well.

Should probably have paid $5 more for PMags

Yeah I haven't had any issues with the pmags. I picked up 4 of them so far but would like another 6-8 so I'm hoping they go on sale this summer.

I ran quite a few rounds through mine. I'm guessing over 1000, without a single hiccup, or cleaning for that matter. But then suddently had %100 failure to extract. I think I the bolt pins qot loose, one fell off and the extractor wasn't doing its job anymore. Maybe it was too dirty too. Anyhow I just bought the upgraded pins and extractor. Waiting to go back to the range see it it solved the problem. Bought a neoprene adhesive cheek pad while at it. I also installed a low profile red dot that cowitness with the iron sights. That's it. The trigger, charging handle and everything else is fine imo. I like to keep things simple. I find many upgrades are just unnecessary, but to each their own.

Irunguns has the 10/17 pmags, bought 6 of them the total was $20 each including taxes and shipping... not sure if you’ll find a better price anywhere even with a sale..

I have a couple Glock 10 and 33 round mags. I've run 600-700 rounds without issue. Just looking at upgrades for the heck of it. Keep saying I'm going to slow down on buyin guns and maybe spend some money on ones I have but I have a 16g coming in the mail this week. Figure I'll order a few things or make the drive to Bullseye one day.

Did this fix your problem?

I've had no FTEs but decided to get the upgraded extractor and bolt pins.

I bought some Glock 17 OEM 10/33 mags from iRunguns

as well as some OEM 10/17s (which are a pretty good price currently).

Already have some OEM 10s, so the variety is nice. I prefer the OEM Glock mags over the Magpuls, which are noticeably lighter (at least to me)... but for those interested, the PMAG 10/17s are at a good price:
