Liberals plan to ''End Gun Violence''

The government does not want to end gun violence. They need the gang bangers to keep stacking bodies so that the public will support their disarmament agenda.

This is misinformation. O'Toole is being smart referring to select fire weapons but the media don't know the difference. I can't say for sure what he will do but he's playing a very smart campaign. He's giving the liberals nowhere to go when they attempt to paint him as the big scary conservative. O'Toole knows he won't win without getting middle of the road voters who are sick of the turd.

I'm in agreement. Look O'Toole is not my ideal PM, but, at least he has accomplishments under his belt. We flush turds to the sewer

If you had listened to O'Tool CBC question period from Vancouver earlier today. The reporter repeatedly drilled him on the 2020 gun ban, O'Tool is very smart and unwavering, he said .. we will keep the 2020 "ASSULT STYLE "firearms review in place..BUT he will do a thorough review of the classification of such "style" of these firearms without politics beings it motive based on science and statistics.

What I take from this..The 2020 assult style firearms have been in place for 40 years and only added to in 2020, if you read between the lines, he promised nothing that would state the current "list" of firearms or, the buy back will be upheld.

Can someone please explain his comments that I just heard on CBC

They were pretty damn specific

Edit

Actually a pretty smart move if you read between the lines and also have faith

He was referring to the ban from 1977

Jesus #### a lot of you are easy to sway. No wonder the Canadian Firearms community has consistently lost ground in the fight to keep these tools and ways of life. There are ####ing two options. The liberal under Justin, or The conservatives under O'toole. There are no other option that will get seats. Maxine will never be prime minister, just like the green party, and the Rino party, or the libertarian party or the communist party. A vote for any one of those orgs is a vote for The liberals plan to take all your guns, if you can't see that then you and everyone else voting on the lines of "But my Principles" are the entire reasons we keep getting into mess's like this.

This may be an unpopular opinion here, however I believe it was a big mistake for O'Toole putting it out in the open on p.90 right there for everyone to attack him on it knowing the Canadian public has been misled in the wrong direction for years, and there wouldn't be enough time to turn the public's opinion around. He should have left it out and then once in power, re-educate the Canadian people and then, repeal them.

I agree it was the right choice AT THIS TIME to reverse course as given the current climate and the elections is 2 weeks away. CPC continues to have my vote. The REAL danger here is people voting PPC splitting the conservative vote which will ultimately lead to a Turdeau victory which = more gun bans as the Libtards promised (and on guns, we KNOW they'll deliver).

CPC still has my vote.. the real thing is the FA act review. And if CPC doesn't deliver anything on gun file if elected, then my vote goes to PPC next time. But for now our best bet is CPC.

Easy to sway?

Isnt the definition of swaying to reverse course?

Isnt that exactly what otoole just did?

《CPC still is the right party to vote for》

I don't deny that he's being flippy floppy. That's politics, they all do this, and it sucks it's this way. I don't like it one bit. I wish we weren't a stinking albatross in the eyes of Canadian media or large swaths of urban voters. But to see how easy it is to sway votes to Fringe parties is sad. Either we save our guns this time around by voting in O'toole. Or we don't. I've all ready lost guns to this I don't want to lose more by having the votes be split to people with no chance of winning, running for new and untested party.
