you obviously havent heard about the worker shortage in canada, workers rather stay home and collect Cerb than work.

besides, cant hire any help with warehouse experience, they are handling guns. i believe, help must have pal and thoroughly vetted.
This was a repeative issue. One would expect a business would learn from the last lesson and would adjust accordingly. It's a matter of if a business cares enough.

wow damned for doing it, damned for not doing it ...

and im laughing here as some gougers (posting here) were trying to sell mag for over $70 a pop 18 months ago ...

I agree. 600 rifles sold, is not a valid excuse to have taken this long. Hire extra help, when needed. Thats how a a business should be run.

I think you should also consider that they have to check everyone's PAL information before shipping, to make sure their licenses are valid and not suspended - on 600+ rifles/people. I'm sure that doesn't help matters. Not to mention they started selling these on a Friday, so it likely wasn't till Monday that orders were processed at all.

A lot of people are getting their ship notices and their package delivered on the same day, so clearly they're going as fast as they can - and they're much further ahead than it would seem.

I know patience is a virtue, but let's just be thankful that we're even able to buy and own these rifles at all.

Those may be valid points you made.

Businesses run on profit. If ppl are ok waiting because you're the only seller of a high demand product, why take on extra overheard and cut into your profit? 1 week or 4 weeks, you're going to buy it and they know it.

What are you going to do? Buy a T81 from someone else? Oh right, they're the only one selling them.

Just to update, I was able get my tracking number via email from TI, website still showing processing but tracking number shows I can pick up later today. Order 1252X

It's not a worker shortage it's a businesses don't want to pay living wage shortage. Supply and demand has shifted and instead of following along with their beloved capitalist principles they just ##### about how no one wants to be exploited any longer.

I have a question for the shipping type 81. All rifle shipped from AB? or anyone got it shipped from ON?

I think they are shipped from AB. My tracking shows Origin: Mississauga, ON but delivery progress only shows AB locations. I'm guessing TI's CanPost account is ON but actually shipped from AB.

My order was 124** and was shipped 28th arrived 29th. Didn't get tracking email until Oct 01. So good chance its on the way even if you haven't received email yet.

I can confirm that they will ship your order before updating it from "order processing" to shipped. It's like Christmas in October.

Received my folder, no complaints at all. The red looks fine to me including the stock piece, although I am slightly red/green colourblind. Finish looks nicer than my original folder. Only things I've noticed in comparison to my original folder is that the stock doesn't close completely flush due to the safety on the right side for the optics mount, which is to be expected and a completely acceptable trade off for me in order to mount optics, and the safety is slightly more stiff and doesn't quite "click" into position like my original. The audible "click" when completely closing the stock isn't there either, though it does lock solidly into place. Really nitpicking here though, the red and finish are beautiful and I couldn't be any happier, can't wait to mount the kobra! Speaking of, is it advisable to add a little blue loctite to the mounting pins before installing the mounting plate to the receiver?
