iv got my renegade setup the same way my ar15 is in the usa as I really like the look and feel of it. downside is it's depressing as all hell to come back to canada and be downgraded to a bolt action and 5 round mags![]()
5 since when?

5 since when?
I don't like using pistol mags I prefer the propper mags
I can't remember where, but a while back someone was selling 10 round pinned pistol labelled magazines in a larger mag body, either a 20 round or 30 round body, can't remember which.
Anyone build a 6.5 grendal for hunting use? Thinking about building one with a 12.5 in barrel.
is there still a legal requirement to call the CFC within 30 days to notify them that my AR is no longer a rifle, just a receiver/frame?
I doubt that it's even possible to make any changes to your registration.
AR parts are parts, too bad they created a ghost gun, can't change the registration status on something that no longer exists.
Yeah, that's kind of what I was gathering. It seems like the gov't did what they did so your firearms as previously registered would have to remain as they did when they became paperweights. I am just curious as to if/when the day comes if handing in a receiver to the horse cops is going to create a sh!t storm, lol.
there is a note in my file about the change of status of my ar15 (no more barrel and upper, only the lower)... you had 30 days to inform them not few months after ...
Umm yeah I’m well aware on what the regulations are. Not sure what you’re talking about “a few months after”. The point is that with no more “valid” registration how (legally) could you inform them of any change. To me it looks like you can’t, is what I’m saying.
