i did a reverse calculation and figured you used 18.5" which is wrong. according to TI measuring method , the chamber is excluded cos we cant measure the chamber part. around 40cm length is what most of us uses.

Iron sites this "bend" means nothing really.

All these cry babies if you get a rifle with a "bend" and you can't handle it, list it for sale at retail price and it will be sold in under 10 mins,
 
I must have the exceptional folder, just did a measure looks straight +/- 1mm. Obviously built right before the party president came to visit the factory no doubt, lol.

Out of four rifles that I’ve received over the years; two straight folders, a straight LMG, and a bent fixed from the first (?) shipment.

I’ll keep the bent fixed stock, and enjoy it, as it’s only 1-1.5mm out. Lots of AK’s like these T81’s.
 
Kinda happy I landed unqueered guns from TI so far, but I probably would have traded away either Type81s I got if they had been crooked. One of the biggest factor in my acquisition habit is looks and general aesthetics. I wouldn't say I'm a collector with a straight face, but I'm pretty big on the sheer accumulation of firearms in principle.
 
Well to put this into true perspective... "Que Son" my Folder from the first import... has a deviation of roughly 7mm lol .884 degrees to the right. NOW THAT, is a truely bent Type 81sa.

Below shows the taper i had to mill into the back side of an 858 side rail just to align the optic parallel to Que Sons bore

deviation of 7mm????? did you calculated that correctly, hahahahahahah :nest::nest::nest:
 
Those ppl, who say "it's common in AK world to have misaligned barrel", " it's a crudely made combloc rifle, it normal to have quality issues", those people a) never handled original AKs, and familiar with this family by US reworks, b) don't know anything how firearms manufacturing and QA and acceptance in ComBloc worked ( name latest three books on subject you read), and c) repeating someone's narrative "it's within specs" without actually seeing those specs.

I never saw that gouger. Time to ad these type to Ignore list. It's Ok to wheel n' deal, make some profits, but just to mark something up $6/700+ overnight, waitin on them to be Sold Out* is a tad unscrupulous practices to me. (esp. everyone knows what you Just paid a week earlier ffs)

Not that its my thing but I'm not sure why folks get upset about someone taking advantage of a market on a totally discretionary item. Its not like its food, medication or something you really need to exist. If I don't like a price no matter how excessive it seems I just move on.

I’d ACTUALLY like to know.
