I never ran hot ammo through mine, and it still damaged it. 1235fps isn’t hot for .22LR, especially for a semi-auto which needs the back pressure to cycle the action consistently and reliably. Even the receiver is marked for .22LR High Velocity.

Generally true statement however, both of my gsg16 rifles cycle cci subsonic reliably. What's more peculiar is that Aguila SSS 60gr cycles as well.
This should look familiar
This is the original design GSG 5.
This page is also describing what happened to your rifle

They are saying that the part that cracked on your rifle is a plastic cover on the bolt carrier assembly that can become loose and then cracks when cycling against the ejection port.
the bolt itself is not damaged just that plastic cover.
Is the bolt made of MIM?
I just bought a gsg16, unfired, new, I regret the purchase.
Maybe a local machine shop could tig that pièce back in place. I'm surprised you can't get a replacement part. I just bought a gsg16, unfired, new, I regret the purchase.
So that whole "buy through Blue line or no warranty" was crap? What does "Limited" lifetime warranty cover?
Sounds like (in hind-site) it doesn't matter who you purchased through - there doesn't seem to be any warranty after the fact.
