Not sure I'm doing the right thing for the right reasons.i just purchased a vudoo from the ee here for about the same price I'm selling my one year old tikka,cz457,anshhutz 1761 for.three 22lr that shoot .4 at 50 yards with various ammo.i just found my self rotating between the 3 at my range days and not bringing my handloads and shooting my 223.it seemed I bounced around from 22 to 22 and not getting totally comfortable with any of them.between switching scopes and different ammo I wasn't learning enough about wind and scope reticle for holdover.i feel if I just have one 22 that I can get used to shooting in all situations that I can then get the wind figured out for the enjoyment of shooting and learning.i am on a waiting list to join a club in manitoba which has access to a 1000 yard range to shoot my cf, I want to be able to read the wind alot better then I do now ,sad part is I enjoy shooting them all.the 1761 is the nicest action I have shot and build quality minus plastic trigger guard is top notch,the tikka is a laser and the cz match barrel 457 sits steady with nice balance on the bench.variety is the spice of life,but first things first.but then I might luck out and no one' buys them lol.

It can and should but all depends on one inescapably important factor.
At our local handgun practice nights there was one guy that would bring like 3 pistols and take turns shooting them each time he went to the line to shoot. I eventually convinced him that he'll never hone his skills by doing that. Consistency in equipment is vital for skills to grow.
I've seen Any vs. Vudoo videos ... it's a photo finish. IMO, 1761 is in par with Vudoo up to 100yrd.
Would you by chance be heading towards the nemesis of all rimfires? LOT numbers of ammo! Does it really make a difference? On another subject I think the OP will be pleased with his new purchase.
I've got a V22R, a 360R and a 1761 - By the time I finished up-grading my 1761, the overall cost was similiar to the Vudoo here in Aus. With ammo matched to the guns, the 1761 will comfortably run with Vudoo but "out of the box", the V22 is the best functioning and most accurate 22 repeater I've owned. I'm a wood/blue freak but will grudgingly admit, these 700 foot print 22's are great guns to own and use.
The vudoo may or man not better the groups I get now or even the build quality of the 1761,I just can't keep using 4 different 22lr,I forgot to put my savage mk 2 heavy barrel that I joined the half inch club with.i need to settle down with a brick and one 22lr and understand what it I'd

I have a Vudoo single shot with the 22" Ace Kukri contour barrel. I bought it off a great guy here on CGN (Thanks Gilbert) Very pleased with the rifle.

I haven't had the pleasure of trying out a Vudoo (yet). Unfortunately, my days and means of buying new rifles are probably over. But I can tell you what I suspect is true of Vudoo rifles.
A Vudoo should shoot very well. They are made with quality in mind. Very importantly, Vudoo barrels are good, as is the chamber. With the single shot BR-purposed model, the V22S, the chamber is reportedly the Winchester 52 D match chamber. And there's an option to get other custom barrels, such as a Shilen ratchet, which in turn offers the potential for very good performance indeed.
As with every .22LR rifle, it is absolutely necessary to find the most suitable ammo for it. Because of the spread of misinformation, some readers may be unaware that when looking for ammo it's not "find the brand of ammo your rifle likes" that works. Much more important and relevant for accuracy is finding the batch or batches of ammo that perform well. Different lots of the same match ammo can and do perform differently. Not all Center X or Midas + will shoot the same, and the same is true for Eley and RWS products.
For best results, shooters must always use the best lot(s) of ammo. They shouldn't count on a random lot of brand X to perform exceptionally. No rifle, no matter its make or design, can outshoot the ammo it's given.

I also have the KRG Bravo stock & the trigger is a Bix'nAndy, very light trigger pull, I guesstimate about 4oz. I think you're going to love the Vudoo

I know what you're going thru. I did almost the same exact thing with three of my other 22's. I miss em all. The 1761MSR was really nice. A close friend enjoys it now; so I still get to see it in action.
But, you definitely will enjoy the Vudoo. I have the V22 repeater w 22in Kukri Bartlein. Vudoo make nice firearms. I am wanting more range time to do more testing. Have a trigger issue being resolved. They are great rifles; you won't have regrets. Enjoy!

Ya I think I have the tikka sold,but I would like to keep them all.probably should of kept them a year I don't think price depreciation changes much from 3 monts to a year.but still want to upgrade the ares btr to the cronus.if you don't mind saying what did u get for the 1761.
