International Barrels my experience

I have found their barrels to be good. Quick turn around. But their customer service is not that great. Was short shipped some parts. Tried emailing them and phoning them. No luck on getting any response to my issue.

Was that since the floods they had this fall? I have always had an email back with a day during the week. And Ryan is pretty active on the IBI facebook page.

Before the covid days I only have great stuff to say about iBi, haven’t been shooting much in 2021

All with iBi barrels…
My wife at the time shot sub 3/8’’ group of 10 .22lr at 50M, using a CZ457, iBi barrel, SKRM ammo, and no shooting experience
My AR15 shot sub moa groups at Connaught at the 300M line, using reloads with 8208xbr and 77TMK (Ryan will give you the recipe)
308 bolter did sub 1/2 moa 10 shot group at 300M at connaught
6.5x47 Lapua did 2 consecutive sub 1/4 moa 5 shot groups at the 200yds line at EOSC
6.5x47 Lapua CF hunter rifle always printed 1/2 moa with ease

One day if I get back to shooting, I may use a cheap Savage action in an MDT stock to get back in action for cheap, but it will be with an iBi barrel!

I had an ibi barrel on a t1x, I had an issue with the first one which was promptly taken care of by Ryan. In the future il be buying from them again.

The replacement barrel shot great, price was more than reasonable.

Ive used IBI on several guns now and every single time, I have had excellent results. I have no idea what their post rifling treatment is but all the barrels clean up SO well. My 6BRA carbon rings come right out and the rifling just sheds carbon so I am a very happy customer

If I could post more than a thanks folks on here I would. Alas not allowed.
What I will say is that we are mon-thurs only 0900-1700 in the office.
There's only 2 of us on the entire front end so if we don't answer right away leave us a message.
FB, IG and the FB user page are great ways to get us if we are out of the office.
We aren't on here very often.

I just got a 223 IBI barrel. Ive only got limited testing but I’m very impressed with it so far. My buddy got a 6.5 Creedmoor at the same time, his barrel is also looking very promising.

Also the tactical gill brake is very impressive. Gorgeous unit, very effective and not overly obnoxious. In a side by side comparison it gives the Heathen a run for it’s money and it’s almost 100$ cheaper. Also IBI isn’t using a troll to promote their products.

I have been using a fluted IBI MTU 26" 1 in 10" twist barrel in .308Win with the GAP chamber.
I have done no serious load development as of yet.

Just been shooting a variety of my match loads from my old barrel.
Consistent 1/2 MOA results.

Once the couple hundred rounds that are left I will start developing a load.

Have shot it out to 820 meters with great results.

Won't be buying any other barrels..........plus really nice being local to them. ;)

Of the two barrels I have I am 50/50. The first barrel (6.5 CM) was great right out of the box. Which prompted me to order another barrel. I ordered a .308 barrel and currently have issue with it. The throat is short. I measured max COAL with Hornady 168 ELD-M. Max measure is 2.770" not jammed but firmly seated in the throat. So approx .030 short of the recommended 2.800" Same issue when I tried 168 SST still can't reach spec COAL. Still waiting to hear back from them.

I would much rather have a short throat over a long throat. Seat your bullets a tad deeper now and as the barrel wears you can chase the rifling and maintain accuracy. A short throat is not a problem if factory ammo can be used... regardless of what specs may be in a reloading book.
