So a little over $1900.00 taxes in (Ontario) and with the flat $40 shipping. That's getting around the Kriss Vector price point for something that hasn't been proven yet like the KV.

Yup, that is the restricted version. Kodiak indicates that there will be both restricted and non-restricted versions in some of the verbiage associated with the video. It's too bad Kodiak's site still doesn't have any information on this upcoming product.

This is a good thing for Canadian shooters, 2 new pcc's coming to the market being produced by Canadian companies.
I personally am more interested in the Kodiac K9, but I hope both rifles do well.

That's good to know. I seem to have a high tolerance for stock triggers (or maybe I just haven't had the experience of a good trigger to know the difference) and I'd rather the cheaper cost than nice-to-have addons that I may not need.

You'll still have to add your own trigger from somewhere for this option.
