Hey gang....
I've been wanting to buy a handgun for the past 3-5 years.....still havent made the plunge but the prices on the S&W M+P are pretty hard to resist. I'm at the point where I cant seem to convince myself that I NEED to spend $600 on a gun that I can only shoot at the range. I own all hunting firearms and enjoy shooting a pile, but not sure that I'll take full advantage of owning a handgun.
Anyone face similar decisions when buying their first? I think possibly if there were enough shoots that I could start competing or doing something in a league of some sort that I would shoot enough. I live about 20 minutes from a good range in Lethbridge....
What do I need to do to convince myself that I need a handgun enough to go out and spend my Christmas money on one?? What kind of competitive shooting events are there around? Man I hate spending money.....
