What are the options out there for optic ready 9mm pistols?

Sold my pistol a while back and want to get another.

Must be 9mm, optic ready, retain front and rear sights with optic mounted.

I know the Glock MOS, Canik Mete are a couple of options. What else is out there that fits these criteria?

Thanks in advance

There are some variants of the Sig p320 that are optic ready that retain the rear sight. Shadow Systems DR920 and MR918s would also fit the bill. What is your budget?

I recently bought a SIG Sauer P320 XFull RXP. It comes with the Romeo 1 Pro pre-installed for about $1,200 and has both front and rear suppressor-height night sights.

You can also get it without the optic, and in this case it runs for about $900.

The package that includes the optic its definitely a better deal.

Another pricier option that is still cheaper than some is the SIG Sauer P226 Legion RXP, which also comes with the Romeo 1 Pro pre-installed and also retains both front and rear sights. It goes for about $1950. It's not the cheapest pistol out there but it still comes in at $450 less than a CZ Shadow 2 OR once you've added the optic and mounting plate.

I just bought a Canik TP9 SC Elite thats optic ready. It retains the iron sights when used with an optic which allows "co witnessing" on the two sights. Heavy on features, super well rated, and it was $551 plus one tax and shipping

Another advantage to the PDP is it's fully modular i.e. there's a ton of after market sights out there that will fit. The factory sights are fully adjustable for elevation and windage.

Now now skimmer....are you sure? Owned both, shot both, competed with both and won with one, Walther.
I love HK, collect them and have HK Disease....but the Walther PDP is superior.
At the NRA National Police Championships there are lot's of different guns. In production class the national record is held with a Walther, not HK.

That said....if the Walther PDP was not available I would probably shoot the SFP-9. Love them both.

True and a beautiful piece. But you'll need to order the appropriate mount from Walther and I don't believe it will co-witness.

Depends on the optic. From first hand experience I can tell you it will co-witness with an Aimpoint ACRO but won't with a Leupold DPP.

The PDP is head and shoulders over any pistol I’ve held and fired. And I’ve been shooting over 50 yrs.

IMHO the PDP is clunky and the trigger, while lauded, is good but not exceptional.
Last pistol shopping spree I went on, I went looking specifically for the PDP based on a recommendation from a well respected and knowledgeable shooter and I went home with a Shadow Systems DR918.
I get a good lower 1/3 co-witness with a type 2 RMR mounted directly to the slide and the standard height sights the pistol came with.
